Glastonbury Tor has been a site of religious significance for over 1000 years and is known as being one of the most spiritual sites in the country, as well as its close links to Christianity, its pagan beliefs are still very much celebrated.

St James church is a Grade II* beautiful Victorian building designed by SS Teulon, which is much admired and appreciated by all and a focal point for all the village to congregate.

St Michael’s church is a Grade I listed building, one of only 24 in the New Forest.

The forest crowds up to the churchyard here, and yews and oaks overhang the lychgate.

Built in the 1850s within part of the county jail, the building was rearranged internally in 1990 to create a light filled sanctuary upstairs and community premises downstairs.

Cirencester Baptist Church had been located in Coxwell Street Cirencester since from around 1651 with the last main building works commencing in 1856.

The church looks down through its quiet rural village towards Milton Abbey.
