An Abbey church, the centre of the daily worship of an active Benedictine monastery.

Situated on the Pilgrimage trail to St David's Cathedral the present Grade ll listed building was erected in 1865 although there has been a place of worship here since before 1066.

St Aidan’s is almost unique in that it is a Tin Tabernacle which is still being used for worship today.

Founded as a monastic community in 654AD, the cathedral became one of the most significant medieval abbeys in the country, the burial place of two queens and the scene of Civil War upheavals.

A beautiful light church, containing some ancient glass in the east windows, and an Elizabethan altar table.

There has been a church on this site since 1090 and St Mary's once hosted (the then Princess) Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as a bridesmaid in 1931.
