Built in 1090 Iford church is a precious survival from just after the Norman Conquest.

An Italianate inter war church with a fine interior and several original furnishings, the northeast tower and statue of Christ are landmarks designed to be seen from the Limehouse Basin and the Thames.

The church family here at St Anne's is privileged to be able to meet in this remarkable Grade I listed building which was commissioned during the reign of Queen Anne as part of the Fifty New Churches Act in 1711.

When you walk through the door of St Stephen, Treleigh, you will be dazzled by the array of green and gold kneelers completed in the 1970s and the beauty of the Hawthorn window, dedicated to Revd Arthur Hawthorn who was vicar from 1941 to 1958.

An overlooked gem of early 20th century architecture and art, strongly influenced by the Arts & Crafts movement and with painting and stained glass by Walter Starmer, best known for his murals at St Jude on the Hill, Hampstead Garden Suburb.
