Find a church

A small attractive stone church, largely Victorian with features dating back to the 1200s.

On entering the church stand for a moment and take in the excellent proportions of the building with its limestone nave built in 1430 and the chancel and tower of pink sandstone, constructed in 1480.

The Beacon Church Centre was built in 1928 with halls added in 1961 and a concourse in 2005.

The chapel is in an idyllic position, with the big house on one side and a lake on the other. It is a building entirely in the Gothic style, but was actually built during the 17th century Commonwealth.

This beautiful church in a tranquil and peaceful setting, is one of the most complete churches designed by GE Street and has many fine features for visitors to enjoy.

Kinlet church no longer has a village around it, but stands in a rather remote location in the grounds of Kinlet Hall.

A hidden gem, off the beaten track and a sacred space for almost 1000 years.
