Few Northampton residents know that the town has a Cathedral!

A church is known to have stood on this site since before the compiling of the Doomsday Book in which Patcham was registered as Piceham.

St Aelhaiarn (also spelled Aelhaearn) was a 6th century saint, and as with many of the early Welsh saints, he was a member of the aristocracy, the son of one of the Welsh princes.

A living church where God has been worshipped for over 1200 years.

St Cuthbert’s is one of London’s largest and finest 19th century churches, it rises dramatically amongst the Victorian terraces of Philbeach Gardens, forming a group with the adjacent clergy house and Philbeach Hall.

This is the oldest site of continuous Christian worship in Britain and stands over the place where Alban, Britains first saint, was buried after giving his life for his faith over 1700 years ago.

Mitcham Methodist Church was designed by the architect Edward Mills (1915–1998) and built in 1958-9.
