We are an early Baptist Church, founded in 1653 and have been on the present site since 1699, our first Minister was hung, drawn and quartered on the beach for joining the Monmouth Rebellion!

The building has 11 early zinc windows that have been fully renovated in 2024-5 by Dorothea Restorations. The Georgian Society thinks they may be among the earliest zinc framed windows in the UK. The building contains a Victorian gallery and an early Baptistry.
