Built in 1882, St Andrew's Presbyterian Church opened to serve the growing community. With it's prominent spire and classical architecture, the building was sensitively remodelled in the early 2000s to create a more usable space for worship. This change helped the worshipping congregation connect more with the beautiful stained glass including the original window which wasn't war damaged (and depicting the burning bush) and the vibrant and deeply significant New Cross Fire memorial window installed to honour those whose lives were lost or forever changed by New Cross Fire.
