St Michael & All Angels austere exterior hides a beautiful and awe inspiring interior.
It is an unusual star shape consisting of two interlocking squares.
The Art Deco interior, including the stained glass east window, chandelier and massive octagonal font and pulpit, with incised coloured line drawings of St John the Baptist and the sower, make this a stunning 20th century church well worth visiting.
