A much loved local church which is undergoing revival.
This church, opened in 1869, was built with support from the Incorporated Church Building Society to serve a newly built area of the town. It takes its dedication from a lost medieval church nearby, a victim of the Civil War, the last traces of which were demolished earlier in the 19th century.
