On one side this church sits above the river Salwarpe and on the other above the Droitwich Canal.

The church is of Norman origin, much extended around 1400 and with a chancel rebuilt in the 19th century. The east ends of both aisles were chantry chapels. The canal was built by James Brindley, opened in 1771, restored for leisure use in 2011 and crossed by a fine bridge.
