The church of Christ the King is a striking modern building, opened in 1979. Situated at the top of a hill in the townland of Strathroy just outside of Omagh, County Tyrone. Located in the parish of Cappagh within the diocese of Derry, the church is constructed of reinforced concrete and is noted for it’s vertical stained glass windows and modern interior.
A grant was awarded to support a detailed condition report. This grant had been made possible through funding from the Historic Environment Division’s COVID 19 Culture, Arts, Languages and Heritage Support Programme..
