How to get here

Coming from Omagh town centre, taking the Gortin Road, at the first mini roundabout take a left turn onto Strathroy Road. Christ the King Church is on the right hand side.

The church of Christ the King is a striking, modern building, opened in 1979. Situated at the top of a hill in the townland of Strathroy, just outside of Omagh. The flat roof church is constructed of reinforced concrete and noted for its vertical stained glass windows and modern interiors. A local landowner, businessman and farmer named Eamonn Cunningham, gifted the parish the land to built the church on.
