Built between 1787 and 1790, when the only other conspicuous building on the whole of the exposed west side of Kintyre was the 1788 completed Mull of Kintyre Lighthouse, this is the story of Killean and Kilchenzie's parish church, 'The Kirk On A Western Shore'.
