St Martin's in Liskeard is a medieval church, and the second largest church in the Diocese of Truro.

There has probably been a church on the site since 1100AD.

Davidstow means David's Place and according to legend the church was founded by St David in the 6th century, whilst visiting his mother at nearby Altarnun.

On one side this church sits above the river Salwarpe and on the other above the Droitwich Canal.

The Pales Quaker Meeting House was built in 1717 and has been in continuous use as a place of worship since that time, the thatched building and attached cottage are Grade II* listed buildings and the adjacent graveyard has been in use since the mid 1600s.

The village church has a tall tower that stands over the cottages in the middle of the village and can be seen from some way off because of the flat landscape.

A hidden gem of Baroque splendour.

St Mary Magdalene, Leinthall Starkes is known locally as'the church in the field' due to its location half a mile outside the current village down a long sloping grass track.

St Peter’s is first recorded in the Chronicles of Battle Abbey when it was donated to Battle Abbey, along with a monastic house known as Llandeulyddog, in about 1110.

The church dates from 12th century, set in the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This church is the owner of the Steeple Aston Cope, perhaps the finest medieval embroidered cope in Britain, currently on display in the V&A Museum.

This church is famous because it is completely covered in religious scenes created with beautiful venetian glass 'tessarae' mosaics and marble in the style of Ravenna in Italy, it is visited by people from across the world.
