A Victorian building designed by architect Edward Hughes in 1871; we are open 363 days of the year during daylight hours.

Built of local ironstone, St Mary's dates almost entirely from the 14th century, with the nave and chancel from the beginning of the century and the tower and spire from about 50 years later.

St Mary’s is a beautiful church, in a beautiful setting and many people come from far and wide to enjoy the building, its history, and its sense of peace and tranquillity.

Despite being in the busy Nene Valley between Wellingborough and Thrapston, Irthlingborough church seen from the far side of the river retains a timeless and surprisingly isolated quality, its extraordinary tower remains the highest building in the area.

St Andrew's is the newer church of the two which serve the parish of Huntington in York.

The church of the Holy Redeemer is unique in two ways. It was the first parish church to be built in York after the Second World War, and stones from the ancient church of St Mary the Elder, Bishophill have been skilfully by the architect George Pace.

St Martin's is a medieval gem that looks much as it did in the 17th century when it was last altered with a rare 14th century scissor braced roof.

The medieval church has a fine west tower around 1500.
