St Augustine’s promises a warm welcome to all visitors, whether they are looking in on their parish church or have a special interest in stained glass.

A large Victorian building with a rose window and twin towers, similar to London’s Bloomsbury Baptist Church, with refurbished refurbished welcoming entrance spaces and hall windows with etched glass co-designed with the community.

There has been a church on this site since the reign of Edward the Confessor (1042-1066) and it is the only one noted in the Domesday Book as being in the ‘vast and ancient territory of Hallamshire’.

The church building, designed by John Mark Mansell Jenkinson, the second generation of a Sheffield firm of architects, was opened in 1971.

A very peaceful, minimalist building with clever use of glazing in the roof to produce beautiful light on a fine day.

The impressive church at Goxhill provides a great backdrop to some fascinating history, Goxhill sits close to the coast in the north of Lincolnshire, close to Thornton Abbey and Barrow Haven.

Our church is at the heart of our community in Thurcroft and is much loved.

Garvald Church is a beautiful parish church in an idyllic rural setting and with a historic connection to St Mary’s Abbey in Haddington, many finely carved gravestones, two burial aisles and a rare mort house.

This lovely Catholic Church is light and airy and a wonderful contrast to the busy city.

Our church was formed September 1881 as a member of the Congregational Union until 1972, when it became a church in the United Reformed Church.
