St Mary's stands on the oldest church site on Portsea Island, Hampshire, England, with a history stretching back to the 11th century.

Considered to be one of the best examples of early architecture in south Wales.

St Johns Cathedral was built in 1882 to provide for the steadily increasing number of Catholics living in Portsmouth and currently over 1000 attend mass on Sundays.

For centuries this building, the Cathedral of the Sea, has watched, listened and helped the people of Portsmouth navigate the passage of time. It has witnessed war and peace, famous marriages, been bombed and rebuilt and remains a building of greatness and simple enduring beauty.

This Grade I cruciform church occupies a commanding position above the village.

St John the Baptist was built in 1914 as a Mission church so that parishioners could avoid the walk into Ringwood and was given the status of chapel of ease.

Despite over rigorous restoration in Victorian times, this village church has regained much charm after recent restoration programmes.
