A rather unassuming village church on the outside but containing a wealth of interest and heritage within its walls, but there also lies a hidden story of murder and intrigue.

Grade I listed St Genewys is a mainly 13th century church with the top of the tower in the later Perpendicular style.

Set in one of Kent's prettiest little towns, St Clement's stands next to the ramparts of what was a Cinque port until the river silted up and left the town stranded.
