The Cathedral is the mother church of the Diocese of Brentwood, as well as being the home of the vibrant Cathedral Parish here in Brentwood.

The Cathedral, part medieval, is a place of meeting, of welcome, of teaching and learning; a place to experience community, quiet, reflection and prayer.

The church was built, destroyed and rebuilt in the 16th and 17th centuries and was seat to renowned bishops Thomas Percy and Jeremy Taylor in their time.
