The church of St Peter & St Paul in Heytesbury is a large Norman building, in the centre of this ancient village.

Designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield, the prolific Victorian church architect, St Andrew’s is remarkable for its wall paintings which are generally in very good condition.

The church is Grade II* listed, the nave and chancel are 12th century and the church was greatly extended in 1854.
