This impressive Gothic church was designed by local architect Dr Alexander Ross and completed 1893.

The church is mainly 13th century and Perpendicular although an earlier tympanum of Samson and the Lion survives.

The church has a medieval tower, a 19th century nave and chancel set within a loved and well cared for churchyard.

The church adjoins the gates of Charlton Park.
