St Gerardine's is sited on a prominent position in the attractive Moray Coast town of Lossiemouth.

The church was built in 1956 and is Grade II because of its unusual architecture, particularly the walls which contain hundreds of small panes of coloured glass.

Situated by the River Avon, the Grade I church has Norman foundations and was enlarged in the 14th century.

The church was built as a Victorian school room then donated to the Catholic church by the Cornwallis West family of Ruthin Castle.

Tucked away in one of the most remote villages in Suffolk, Shelley church is hard to find but worth finding!

The circular shape of the original churchyard boundary here indicates the site was used for Christian worship before the present church was built.
