St Thomas church was built in 1886 and stands proud in the centre of the eastside of Swansea.

It’s said that a church was founded here c1230 by Llywelyn Fawr, Prince of Wales, to avoid the walk to the church at Llanrhychwyn.

The Church is steeped in history with its early 12th century nave featuring sloping inner walls and 13th century chancel and lancet window.

The church is thought to date from the reign of Henry III.
