Find a church

Our church was built in the 1200s and is a friendly local village church close to the Chilterns and the Grand Union Canal.

Seen from the lane it is a thatched brick building, whitewashed except for where the windows and doors are picked out in red brick.

Attractive village church, with parts dating back to the 15th century, overlooking the River Usk in the Brecon Beacons.

St Paul's church was built around 1732 and rebuilt in 1768, becoming cruciform by the addition of an apse and transepts and a low bell tower. 

Lies in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Beauty. and surrounded by a stunningly beautiful churchyard overlooking the Painswick valley.
