Our bright, modernised Victorian church occupies a dominant position on the bustling Portishead High Street, within walking distance of the busy Marina with its restaurants, coffee shops and pubs.
The church has undergone several major renovations and extensions over the years, the latest in 2021 and now boasts the Beacon Community Hub with lively cafe, well used hall and meeting rooms, and the church which is extensively used as a performance space for several local choirs and orchestras. Morning service and junior church is held each Sunday, attended by a growing multi generational congregation and all visitors will be sure of a warm welcome.

There has been a church on this site since 1893 although it was not completed until 1934; during the bombing of World War II it was seriously damaged by fire and when rebuilt in 1957 was reduced in size.
