A historic church at the heart of an urban estate.

On the western edge of the village below RAF Scampton, where the Dambuster raids were flown from and now home to the Red Arrows; there is an RAF chapel in the church with Squadron badges and there are several Commonwealth War Graves in the churchyard.

One of England's glorious medieval "wool" churches, set in a unique historic village and that there is a breathing space of countryside beyond the church adds to the pleasure of the setting.

The chapel’s first minister appointed in 1695 rejoiced in the name of Accepted Lister.

Unusually dedicated to a French saint, and linked to the neighbouring St Radegund's Abbey, St Anthony’s church is a Grade I listed building dating back to the 12th century.

A Late 1950s quasi mediaeval gem!

 The first records of the church indicate it was rebuilt some time after 1066 by the Lord of the Manor, William Paganel, who gave it, with other possessions of his, to Drax Priory in the time of Archbishop Thurstan (1119–1140).

The church is one of the oldest foundations in Doncaster and exhibits a fascinating mix of architectural style.

St Peter & St Paul is Grade I listed and a wonderful example of Georgian architecture with a beautiful reredos behind the altar, the modern octagonal lantern was designed by Louis Osman who also designed the coronet for the Prince of Wales.

St Paul's is the original parish church of Shipley, built in 1826.

The parish church of Reepham, originally spelt Refaim or Refam, is dedicated to St Peter & St Paul and was first mentioned by Bishop Grosseteste in the 11th century.
