St Mary's is a Victorian building built between 1864 and 1866 to replace a much older church.

Built by Horatio, 3rd Earl Nelson, this Early English style church has been at the heart of our small community for 175 years.

Visit our historic (1846) church incorporating a 13th century font and Rutson family connections, set in a loved churchyard with its own war memorial and Commonwealth War Grave.
