This medieval pilgrim church stands above the shore of the Irish Sea, at the end of the Llyn Peninsula, nestled in the old fishing village of Aberdaron.

Dedicated to St Margaret, this grade II* listed church has been constructed of greenstone, limestone and red brick to create a wonderful patchwork effect that catches the light beautifully in the setting sun.

We are an early Baptist Church, founded in 1653 and have been on the present site since 1699, our first Minister was hung, drawn and quartered on the beach for joining the Monmouth Rebellion!

St John’s is a much loved church at the heart of the community, where generations have gathered to find welcome, connection and hope.

A Late 1950s quasi mediaeval gem!

In the 1930s Arthur Mee realised that there were very few communities that had not suffered military fatalities in the First World War. He coined the term ‘Thankful villages’ to describe them and Minting is one such village.

The manor of Plymtree predates Domesday, the present church of St John the Baptist dates from 14th century and replaced a much earlier structure.

Standing forlorn, with only a farm for company, St Michaels is a precious little building.

St Mary's church is the centrepiece of a substantial village green, unusual in the region and is home to two 5th to 6th century inscribed stones.

Holy Trinity is in the centre of the village, opposite The Sun Inn, next to the school and village pond.

This is one of England's most celebrated parish churches, and for many church enthusiasts it is one of, if not the, best in the whole country.

The current St Michael and All Angels church in Haworth is the third building of religious significance to stand on this site, with the first Haworth Chapel dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries.
