St George's Bloomsbury, the work of Nicholas Hawksmoor, is one of the finest Baroque churches in London and indeed has been described as ‘one of the capital’s most wonderful buildings’.

St John's is an east London landmark, standing at the centre of Stratford, one of the world's most multi cultural places.

The chapel has been, variously, the Chapter House of a Carthusian monastery, a storage place for Henry VIII’s hunting equipment, and the private chapel of a Tudor mansion.

This is the chapel of one of the four Inns of Court. It is on the site of the chapel built in 1315, and rebuilt in the 1960s following destruction in the Second World War.

Consecrated in 1686 by Bishop Henry Compton (after whom Old Compton St is named) the original church was designed by William Talman, who worked under Sir Christopher Wren. In December 2016 our redesigned entrance, featuring our name in neon lights, was dedicated by the Bishop of London to ensure the church remains a visible presence in the community it serves.

St Etheldreda’s is the oldest Catholic church in England and one of only two remaining buildings in London from the reign of Edward I.

The present building was consecrated in 1623 having been built to the designs of Inigo Jones.
