One of the finest medieval churches in the county well set above the village green, off the main road, and adjacent to the mainly 17th century manor house.

A fine example of a medieval church with later alterations and additions, St Mary’s is light and attractive and includes a lady chapel and two notable memorials.

The earliest part of St Michael's is the 12th century nave.

The present Gothic style church was built by Fr John Lynch and finished in 1860, the bell tower with its 37 hundred weight bell was added in 1908.

Built 1836 with local stone, interesting stained glass, several war graves.

Beautifully positioned on the north bank of the river Ouse, you cannot fail to be struck by the extremely graceful tower and spire, the excellent proportions are apt to make it seem much higher than it really is.

Pretty rural church in a lovely setting with an old font and an aura of peace.

Delightful limestone church dating from the 13th century and quite possibly replacing a wooden Saxon church which existed on the site when the Domesday Book was written in 1086.

Possibly the oldest church in the Diocese of Oxford, the earliest parts of All Saints date from the 14th century, but the font is 13th century so there may have been an earlier church building on the site.

Occupies an imposing hillside setting with Norman origins but predominately ‘Early English’ to ‘Decorated’.

The tower at over 90 feet is one of the highest vantage points in Ballymena and is one of the few remaining seven towers of Ballymena.
