Legendary hilltop church with a perfect interior.

Built by John Oates opened in 1821 and funded by the Victorian industrialists for the increasing workforce in their factories.

The parish church of Reepham, originally spelt Refaim or Refam, is dedicated to St Peter & St Paul and was first mentioned by Bishop Grosseteste in the 11th century.

The church is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. A church of some kind has stood here on this site for over 1,000 years.

A light airy modernist building built of red brick in the 1950s, based around an arch shape which is echoed in the simple stained glass windows which gives the design a slightly Scandinavian feel.
