Weobley is famous for its half timbered 'black and white' buildings, many of which line the main street, Broad Street.

Described as the oldest building in South Yorkshire, the church has a lovely ‘across the centuries’ feel.

Kilpeck is a modest village hidden away in west Herefordshire, but its church is world famous for its 12th century sculpture and carving, made by a group of mason/sculptors known as the Herefordshire School.

Welcome to our church of St Columba & St Kentigem. It may not be what you are used to seeing in this country, because our community belongs to the Eastern Orthodox Church.

Built on the site of a timber motte and bailey castle, the white, cylindrical keep of this 12th century castle is a spectacular structure.

Two churches are recorded at Binbrook in Domesday, these most likely being the former churches of St Mary and St Gabriel.

Great Walshingham is much smaller than its neighbour Little Walshingham, which gets all the attention because of the shrine and other buildings associated with Our Lady of Walshingham.

A delightful 11th century church in a lovely setting surrounded by trees and an old graveyard, the doorway is Norman but the rest of the church is later.

Although Great Snoring is actually smaller than Little Snoring, its church is bigger and less rustic, reminding us quietly that it was once grander.

On entering the church stand for a moment and take in the excellent proportions of the building with its limestone nave built in 1430 and the chancel and tower of pink sandstone, constructed in 1480.
