Known as the Marble Church, the church tower at 62 metres high, is a landmark visible from miles around.

The church was designed by architect Edward Street with wonderful stained glass windows and a large well kept churchyard with flower beds and bench seats so that both the church and churchyard are oases of peace.

Originating from the 12th century, the church lies at the centre of this Sussex Weald village, is open daily and is alongside a traditional village pub!

All Saints is an outstanding Grade I listed late Victorian Gothic style church built of Sussex sandstone and Sussex oak at near cathedral size, with a vibrant history and a strong future.

This tiny, plain stone roofed building is about 11 feet by 8 feet, with walls two feet thick and, under the altar, St Trillo's holy well.

Our church was built in the 1200s and is a friendly local village church close to the Chilterns and the Grand Union Canal.

Named after Deiniol, one of the major Welsh saints,there has been a church on this elevated site since the 6th century, the congregation is proud of the church’s association with the family of Victorian Prime Minister, William Ewart Gladstone.
