This is a small church in a village with a long history going back to Norman times.

The Olive Tree Branch is a large prominent building at a roundabout on the top of a hill in Luton, which includes an impressive stained glass window in the south wall of the church above the central aisle, within the church’s calm, tranquil setting.

This church was consecrated by the Bishop of London on St Luke’s Day, 18th October 1824 and was built because the original parish church (now known as Chelsea Old Church) was regarded as too small for the increasing population.
