Find a church

In a secluded setting in the middle of trees with no electricity or water, can be found the tiny and delightful church of St James.

A fine cruciform church, largely Early English but with a Norman nave, a Perpendicular central tower and Victorian aisles as well as 13 grade II listed structures within its charming churchyard.

Early Gothic construction with magnificent wooden barrel ceiling and early gas fittings converted to electricity about 1940.

A great feature of the church is the splendid barrel organ, the only one in working order still to be found in a Lincolnshire church.
