A much loved traditional church of early medieval origin with later tower and windows, showing evidence of major refurbishments in the 17th and 19th centuries.

The present chapel at Fulham Palace is the fourth known at the site, designed by William Butterfield for Bishop Tait it was consecrated in 1867 but after bomb damage in the 1940s it was altered in the 1950s and is now a fascinating mixture of old and new.

The present St Mary’s was opened in 1895, but a medieval stone and tile in the porch are clues to the parish’s much longer story.

The church was constructed in 1836, designed by noted local architect Joseph Butler.

In 1857 the church of St Mary of the Angels was opened with a community known as the Oblates of St Charles.

St Peter's is beautiful Grade I listed small village Saxon/Norman church.

The church dates from 12th century, set in the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A 13th century church considerably extended in the 14th century in the perpendicular style and restored in 1870 by Slater and Carpenter with pew ends carved by the then incumbent, the Revd JH Holdich.

The delightful conservation village of Cold Overton lies on a ridge close to the Rutland border, where the church originates from the 12th century with its medieval wall paintings and stone carvings.

There has been a church on the site for about 1000 years.
