Our chapel was built in 1797 to fulfil a promise to John Wesley, who preached here in 1786.

Twyford's impressive church is set in a big, tree dotted churchyard in which there is a cross of very early date, probably 13th century.

This church closed in 1997 but a community effort resulted in the church reopening in 2009.

Topped with rows of neat battlements like a church from a medieval fairytale, Clifton Reynes church sits at the end of its secluded village surrounded by open country, in a bend of the River Great Ouse.

On the western edge of the village below RAF Scampton, where the Dambuster raids were flown from and now home to the Red Arrows; there is an RAF chapel in the church with Squadron badges and there are several Commonwealth War Graves in the churchyard.
