If you’re new to Banbury, on holiday or just visiting, new to church, or just curious about life and faith, we’d love to welcome you.

The church was completed around 1181, with some rebuilding work was done in 1853.

The first chapel of the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, built in 1813, formed part of the Old College building and, following the construction of the newer and larger chapels, it was used variously as a dining hall and museum.

St Germain's is Grade II listed, and was one of very few built during the First World War, being consecrated in September 1917.

St James’s dates from 1832 and, together with St John’s Tidbury Green and Christ the King in Widney Junior School, serves the Parish of Shirley.

A small church at Gwyddelan’s preaching spot was replaced in the early 12th century by a new stone church.

This Norman church dates back to 1182 and still has some original features.

The earliest part of St Michael's is the 12th century nave.

People have been worshipping in this wonderfully preserved church for 900 and on a site chosen by the Breton missionaries, Mael and Sulien, who came here in the 6th century as Christian missionaries.

The coastal parish of Climping (also spelled Clymping), just west of the River Arun, has a remarkably sturdy looking church that is said to have begun life as a Norman watchtower.
