Situated above the River Till on the southern edge of Salisbury plain.

A tasteful church with fabulous family tombs.

All Saints is thought to have been built around 1200 and is arguably the oldest church in the Forest of Dean.

The chapel is in an idyllic position, with the big house on one side and a lake on the other. It is a building entirely in the Gothic style, but was actually built during the 17th century Commonwealth.

An interesting example of Gothic revival, St Peter’s sits on a prominent location next to the Norman motte and bailey with good stained glass, eclectic mix of window tracery, six bell peal and fine organ.

St James church is designed in Gothic style by renowned church architect JS Crowther from Manchester (he later restored Manchester Cathedral).

The church stands at the centre of the village where modern houses occupy the sites of farmyards and are thus cheek by jowl with ancient farmhouses.

Set in the gardens of Steane Park this is a rare church built in the gothic style in 1620.

All Saints, Stechford is an impressive Gothic style church in Birmingham designed by JA Chatwin in 1898.

Steeltsown's simple symbolic tented form blends into its sub urban landscape, the western hemlock timber sheeting to the interior gives it a warmth.

This church is the owner of the Steeple Aston Cope, perhaps the finest medieval embroidered cope in Britain, currently on display in the V&A Museum.

The church was rebuilt in the early 13th century, giving the village its present name, and consisting of an aisled nave, a central tower, and a chancel.
