Opened in 1889 this stunning Victorian Gothic Chapel was built for the family of the Seventh Duke of Newcastle to use when at home at Clumber Park. However it is no ordinary country house chapel, acting today as a parish church and living up to it's nickname of 'Cathedral in Miniature'.

Created by some of the finest names in ecclesiastical design of the period the chapel stands proudly in the Pleasure Grounds, looking out over Clumber Lake and giving visitors an ideas of what the scale that Clumber House would have been.

The chapel is today owned and maintained by the National Trust.
