Archaeological evidence of Roman inhabitants of the first to the fourth centuries AD has been found on the outskirts of our town.These inhabitants have left evidence of the faith that inspired them and that is still in our church to this day, as you will find in your tour round this building. For some 1,200 years or more, townsfolk have gathered here Sunday to Sunday and week by week, to share their Christian joy and love.
