This church with Saxon and Norman features is beside Avebury Manor and near the famous stone circle. Among its treasures you'll find a Norman tub font, a Perpendicular tower, and a painted rood loft - a rare survival from the 15th century.

Take a close look at the font when you visit - it features a carving of a bishop confronting a pair of serpents. Plus, look out for surviving traces of the Saxon clerestory and windows.
