How to get here

The church is situated just off Daventry Road, opposite the Park Centre. There is a small green between the church and Daventry Road, and the car park is located at the rear of the green in front of the church. For those travelling by bus, there is a bus stop on Daventry Road, directly opposite the church, which is served by the 16 from the city centre, and the 36 from St Anne's/Brislington. 

The church was built in the late 1930s and boasts a delightful view across the city from the rear garden, which can be accessed via a ramp from the main building. Inside, the sanctuary is tastefully designed with full length windows on either side, allowing natural light to fill the worship space. At the rear of the sanctuary is a recently installed mezzanine floor, accessible via a lift or stairs, which offers a different perspective of the church below. 

The church has recently benefited from new facilities, which include a modern, disability compliant kitchen and toilets, one of which is fully disability compliant. The building is a flexible space, with lightweight stackable chairs, a sound system and several monitors for displaying presentations. There is a separate meeting/prayer room for smaller groups if required.

  • Sunday morning services run from 10am to 1115am. Services include provision for children and refreshments after the service. There is an all-age services on the 4th Sunday of every month.

  • Monday: Barney's Toddler Group (0-3 years) from 1 to 3pm. Safe Hangout Space (8-14 years) from 6 to 7.30pm.

  • Tuesday: Purple Shoots (a craft-based group for adults) from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

  • Wednesday: BS4 Foodbank (by referral only) from 12.30pm to 2pm. PREPARED course (a church lay-leadership learning group) from 4pm to 6pm. Bible Study and discipleship gathering (open space conversation and interactive learning with refreshments) from 6.45pm to 8.45pm.

  • Thursday: Warm Welcome Space (all are welcome) with a free lunch provided from 9.30am to 1.30pm. A time of prayer and contemplation is held for anyone who would like to join in from 11am to 11.30am.
