St Barnabas was built in 1953 and is a modern church building with a pitched roof and internally the main sanctuary of the church is an open space, which brings much versatility.

As you enter the main sanctuary you are faced with a beautiful stained glass window as a focal point and beneath this is the chancel and main communion altar.  Thanks to the skill and generosity of a local parishioner we also have a hand crafted communion table which is moveable, making our Holy communion services more accessible for those with mobility issues.

The extension to the north side of the building is a later addition to the church in the 1980s and is an invaluable addition to the life and ministry of St Barnabas in its community work. To the rear of the building, we feel very fortunate to own an Orchard which is a beautiful space for quiet reflection or community events depending on times and seasons of the year.
