The present church was built around 1780 and has a medieval bell with the angel Gabriel on one side and Mary and Jesus on the other, with a second bell made in the Netherlands in 1618. The building is L shaped, with porches to the east and west. It boasts a number of decorative features and interesting gravestones in the surrounding graveyard.
