Built in 1320, Osbournby church is a Grade I listed building on the site of a former church originating from the 11th century and with alterations made during the Victorian period. The medieval pew ends survived the Reformation. Although the rood and rood screen no longer exist, the base of the screen and steps inset into the chancel arch remain intact.

The church is considered to be Heritage at Risk and fundraising is ongoing to restore the tower, the walls, replace the drainage, install a servery and toilets and display an historic account of the village and church.
