All Saints

The church was built in 1858 on the site of the previous church on an old roman site. A 12th century font and memorial tablet is all that remains of the old church. The church is of limestone and tiles, with a splendid stained glass east window by Gibbs of London. The church is just outside the village on a hill top with commanding views all round including the Yorkshire Wolds. It is a small village church in a very rural setting.
