Our little church is built of stone and brick, and is Grade II listed. It stands opposite Aswardby Hall and is surrounded by trees. Fr T Pelham Dale, parish priest from 1881-1892, was prosecuted and imprisoned for ritualistic acts in 1876 and 1880. He was regarded a martyr by Anglo Catholics.
