Capel y Groes is a Welsh chapel designed by Stewart Powell Bowen, an award winning architect and was built when two churches joined together in the late 1970s. One church was in the centre of Wrexham and because of redevelopment of Wrexham town centre was demolished. Capel y Groes has since been a focal point of activities - from choir rehearsals, Red Cross drop in sessions for refugees and asylum seekers, Food Bank, children and youth groups, hard of hearing groups.
