How to get here

Turn off Thornaby Road (A1045) at The Oddfellow's Pub.

This beautiful small church sits proudly on the village green of Thornaby on Tees. It is believed to be the third church on this site. Inside the church you can see original Norman carvings on the altar as well as some Saxon carvings. Th ancient font saw the baptism of Captain Cook's mother Grace Pace and the font has a Roman stone base.
