St Mary

St Mary's was built in 1856, on the site of several earlier churches, by the Londonderry family who lived at nearby Wynyard Hall.

The church happily combines the modern and the traditional. A fine carved screen separates the chancel from the nave. The single manual organ is of historic interest. On the north side of the chancel is a chapel dedicated to the Londonderry family.
