Situated in the Leigham Court Conservation Area of Streatham Hill, St Margaret the Queen church is a beautiful Grade II listed church built in 1907 in the Arts & Crafts style. The church was originally built to be a place of welcome and hospitality to all, seating 850people as the parish numbered 846 at the time.

It has a rich history of saintly carvings and can be traced through the evolution of British culture and styles showing its local heritage, family history and tales of human events and achievements, embellished with architecture, art and craftsmanship. SMTQ is a 'treasure house' of heritage, history and community containing ancient timber carvings, wonderful roof bosses and stained glass.

The building has been the most photographed during the 2020 pandemic due to housing the South London food bank warehouse.
